I proclaim this as a former 2-hours-to-get-ready-for-anything girl: everyone should be able to get ready for a normal day in under 10 minutes if need be. It can be done. No, really. It can. You just need a mental emergency kit of simple routines that you know will work.

With these 3 products, I can go from zombie to ready to face the world in under 2 minutes. I’ve even done it with a baby on my hip.
1 // Foundation. If you have beautiful, even skin you might skip this step. I don’t, so I always use some sort of foundation. This bareMinerals is compact powder rather than loose, and I’m loving it. Swirl it on and I have even skin.
2 // Blush. My aunts taught me something valuable: you need more blush. Whenever you think it’s enough, put just an extra swipe on. It will quickly fade a bit, and you’ll look more awake. I never skip this step because it’s the one product that really adds life to your face.
3 // Mascara. I have light lashes, so mascara is a priority for me. For most people, I think mascara makes a big impact even if you only wear a little product.
That’s it. You can face the world even if you wake up 13 minutes before your meeting at church. Not like that has ever happened to me.
Linking up with my sweet friend and lover of all things simple, Nicole, at Home for Hire. Give her a visit!

Oh you’ll be doing all sorts of things toting the little one around! It gets easier and easier. I can’t wait for your little guy to arrive!
